David L. Lander is best known for his portrayal of the character “Squiggy” on the sitcom Laverne & Shirley (1976-1983), and has appeared in feature films including A League of Their Own, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Scary Movie. He has guest-starred in over thirty television shows. His book, Fall Down Laughing: How Squiggy Caught Multiple Sclerosis and Didn't Tell Nobody (Tarcher) is the often poignant, always humorous account of Lander's courageous struggle with MS, from his desperate search for a cure, to his sixteen years of silence, to his decision to go public with his illness.
