Dr. Aliza A. Lifshitz

Dr. Aliza A. Lifshitz is well known to the Hispanic community and has been its primary source of trusted health information, appearing as a health reporter for the Univision TV Network since 1988. She currently reports on Primer Impacto, Spanish-language television's highest rated news magazine, and serves as the health columnist for La Opinión, the largest Spanish-language daily in the United States. She also answers listeners' health questions on Spanish-language network radio Unica. She is four-time president of the California Hispanic-American Medical Association and was selected by the American Medical Association to launch its 1992 Medical Ethics Consumer Information campaign. Her book, Mama Sana, Bebe Sano (Quill), is a bilingual guide for mothers-to-be to help ensure healthy pregnancies and healthy newborns.
