Ellen Kassoff Gray

Ellen Kassoff Gray opened Equinox with her husband Todd as the restaurant’s General Manager. Concerned with the availability of fresh, organic foods in D.C., Ellen helped start Capitol Harvest on the Plaza Farmers Market (CHoP) in 2009, which allows eco-friendly farmers to offer their goods to consumers locally. She is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier and, among other honors, has received the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs (WCR) Golden Fork Award for Front-of-the-House Excellence. The New Jewish Table is her first book.
