Mia St. John

Mia St. John, known as "The Knockout" for both her appearance and as the WBC Welterweight Champion of the world, has spent more than a decade in the spotlight as a professional athlete, fitness expert, and entertainment personality. As an athlete, she was one of the first female boxers to have her fights aired on Univision and on Pay-Per-View, opening for Oscar De La Hoya. Mia currently has a workout DVD, Million Dollar Workout (Wiley), in stores nationwide, which is available in both English and Spanish. In addition to her professional success, Mia is extremely active in the Hispanic community. She started her own foundation, The Mia Rosales "El Saber Es Poder" Foundation, for Latinos in the United States to help fund education programs for inner city children. Mia's fitness book, The Knockout Workout: 3 Winning Steps to Improve Your Body and Your Life, was published by John Wiley & Sons.
