Paul Grushkin has spent twenty-five years as head of sales for the largest rock & roll merchandising companies in the world. He is the author of the best-selling Rockin' Down the Highway (Voyageur Press), The Art of Rock: Posters from Presley to Punk (Abbeville Press), and Art of Modern Rock: The Poster Explosion (Chronicle Books) with Dennis King. He is also the co-author, along with Joel Selvin, of Treasures of the Hard Rock Café (Rare Air) and Grateful Dead: The Official Book of the Dead Heads (Quill), written with Cynthia Bassett and Jonas Grushkin. Paul Grushkin is an acknowledged expert in rock merchandise and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
